Below you will find the spellings the children will need to know for year 6. The children will be tested every Friday and we will be going through the spelling rules of each week as well. Their grammar IXL homework is also displayed below.
Commas should aim to achieve a minimum score of 70 out of a 100, Capital Letters should aim to achieve a minimum score of 80 out of 100 and Full Stops should aim to score a minimum of 90 out of 100. If you complete the tasks quite quickly then feel free to practice some of the other units that you are not as confident with.
REMEMBER if you are on IXL for more than 45 mins and still haven't met the minimum score then take a break and do it another day. If you STILL have difficulty, then come and see me when you are next in school.
